This is a great A-frame to stay in . Plan a couple of days. Just enjoy the space . Loved the kitchen and Playroom

The A-frame has always been an architecture of intention. Its pitched roofline is both shelter and statement, a structure that narrows toward the sky and draws the eye upward through windows that frame nothing but tree canopy and open air. The A-Frame by Haute Haus Alma Co takes that iconic silhouette and outfits it for a particular kind of escape: unhurried, deeply private, and designed around comfort that feels earned rather than excessive. From the moment you arrive, the geometry of the space announces itself. The steep walls converge overhead, creating an interior that feels at once compact and expansive, intimate without ever feeling small.
Inside, the cabin is outfitted with a focus on warmth and tactile simplicity. Natural materials define the space, and the layout is purposeful, making the most of the A-frame's distinctive angles. The living area sits beneath the soaring peak of the roofline, flooded with natural light from the front-facing windows. Everything has been considered with a design-minded eye, balancing rustic character with modern conveniences. This is a residence that rewards slowness, where mornings are best spent with coffee in hand and nowhere pressing to be.
The outdoor offerings are central to the experience here. A private hot tub invites long soaks under open skies, while a dedicated sauna adds a layer of ritual to the stay. The interplay between the two creates a natural rhythm: heat, cool air, warm water, stillness. These are not afterthoughts or amenities tacked on for a listing photo. They are the reason many guests book in the first place, and the property delivers on that promise with thoughtful placement and privacy. The surrounding landscape provides a quiet backdrop, reinforcing the sense of seclusion that the A-frame's design already suggests.
Haute Haus Alma Co has built a reputation for curating properties that balance aesthetic precision with genuine livability, and this A-frame is a clear expression of that approach. It is not a hotel, nor does it aspire to be one. It is a residence designed for guests who want to disappear for a few days, to trade the noise and tempo of daily life for something simpler and more deliberate. What stays with you after a visit is the quality of the quiet, the particular satisfaction of stepping from the sauna into cool evening air, and the way the cabin's sharp angles seem to hold the world at a respectful distance.

There's something about the A-frame silhouette against a Colorado ridgeline that just makes sense—it feels like architecture answering the landscape. Haute Haus leans into that with a Nordic-inflected warmth that never tips into theme, where mountain modern design across three floors gives a group of friends or a family room to scatter and regroup without losing the communal thread. The open kitchen anchors the social life inside, but the real gravity pulls you outdoors—two levels of deck space with a hot tub and a wood-fired pizza oven shift the après energy from resort to something more personal. Eighteen miles from Breckenridge but meaningfully removed from the bustle, this is a place that rewards the people who'd rather build their own version of a ski weekend than follow the standard script.

Words and pictures honestly don't do this place justice. In the past, I've noticed the pictures for listings usually make them look better than they actually are, Yvonna's place was the opposite. This is absolutely the nicest place we've stayed. The kitchen is perfectly set up and has everything we needed. The thought that was put into this property and the technology in the design is truly a thing of beauty. The area is gorgeous and pretty secluded. Everyday we saw wildlife right outside the cabin. We did have 3 bears come by and had to run them off, so if you have a toddler as we do keep that in mind. Of the 30 plus Airbnb properties I've stayed at, I've certainly never had a better host. Yvonna was messaging every day checking in and trying to make sure our stay was perfect. Our first day there was an issue with the crib not being set up. Yvonna apologized and sent us a $20 gift card to a local bakery. I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you Yvonna for an amazing week!

The cabin was picturesque! Every amenity and need was met greater than expected. Our family of 8 felt comfortable and safe at Haute Haus as well as thought of with the comfortable and plentiful linens. You will be so thrilled with the abundant wildlife that it will be keeping you by a window or on the deck to take a peak over the edge or into the wood to spy them. The silver fox was a stud the last day we were there and sat perfectly perfect for his portrait. The little red fox is so curious that it stood and stared at us for a moment while we were eating breakfast one morning! Time seemed to crawl while we were there for our stay, in the best way possible!
Book this cabin, you will not be disappointed in the least! The locals are so kind and welcoming. We purchased moccasins at The Sheephearders shop. She is an artist!!! Otto's and Eagle Ranch Mercantile provided great meals and the general store literally has everything you could possibly need!
Thank you, Yvonna!
